Therapy is important for individuals, couples, families, and children to overcome obstacles we are faced within our life that can make us feel stuck, confused, lonely, unheard, and unseen. The goal of therapy is to inspire change, motivation, and improve the quality of life through self-awareness and self-exploration. Many times we are not taught how to express or deal with our emotions growing up, so we are left repeating vicious cycles of self-destruction until we dig within and make changes to improve our overall life and situations. Being in therapy can help improve communication with others and yourself, raise self-esteem, distinguish emotional blockages, bring awareness to generational cycles, and empower you to live an honest and authentic life. With society having a huge impact on whom we think we are growing up, therapy can help you find who you really are, and help guide you to becoming and maintaining the person you've always dreamt to be. Journaling is important to establish into your daily routine to help control emotions and improve overall mood. Journaling can help prioritize problems, fears, concerns, suppressed emotions, confusions, as well as express gratitude that you may have for yourself or the high power you believe in. By journaling thoughts and emotions, it can help you recognize triggers so you can learn better ways to control them and not allow them to control you. We often get caught up in the vicious cycle of thought patterns that can cause self-destruction and by taking the time to write them down as a healthy coping technique, you will often be refreshed and able to think clearly without leading with emotions. Nutrition and diet are so important that science is referring to the gut as the second brain. Without proper nutrition and a balanced diet, your body will not work effectively and can be lead by deficiencies that can later create disease within the body. 95% of Americans do not eat the recommended amounts of fruits and veggies per day leaving their bodies to be deficient in nutrients and minerals causing disease, infection, fatigue, low performance, hormone imbalance, issues with sleep, gut issues, mood disorders, and obesity. Without proper education and guidance on the importance of nutrition and diet, children may grow and face developmental issues, poor academic performance, and frequent infections. Fitness & Physical Activity

Physical activity or exercise can improve overall health and reduce the risk of developing diseases like diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, improve mood, improve self-esteem, and overall health. Many people feel intimidated and do not attempt to work out due to feeling overwhelmed with not knowing how to start or that they need to start with weights at the gym. I'm here to help and share that fitness and physical activity DOES NOT have to be conducted in a gym! You can literally go for a 20-minute walk each day in sunshine that can improve overall health! It is important to know that small changes can make huge differences in someone's life and you do not need to make drastic changes at first, which is the issue that people find themselves quitting and not able to maintain due to over doing it. Spirituality

Spirituality can be a touchy subject for some and that is okay. I believe spirituality is a beautiful practice no matter what belief or religion you tend to follow. Spirituality is important because it can help restore hope, faith, and optimism to develop a more hopeful outlook on life. Spirituality can also bring others together to have a sense of community and support from people that are not necessarily family, but an important source of social support.
